TANYA WESCOTT, MA, CCC-SLP/L
Founder & Speech Language Pathologist
Tanya is a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), holding an American Speech-Language Hearing Association’s National Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). She is licensed to practice as a SLP in the State of Ohio (CCC-SLP/L), and she also holds an Ohio Department of Education school license. Tanya has 20 years of experience working with children (ages 1-22) in multiple states, schools, early intervention, and private practice. By completing undergraduate requirements for an elementary education minor, she is able teach general education classes K-5. As an Assistive Technology Specialist, she was a grant recipient who earned additional licensure for persons with severe and profound disabilities and autism. Tanya also passed the praxis exam for teaching students with severe and profound disabilities, where she could be a special education teacher. These classes and work experiences enabled Tanya to be a special education director, but she chose to following her passion as a SLP. She continues to learn and be a well-rounded and diversified SLP hiring only those who are like minded. Additional trainings include Assistive Technology & AAC, Autism, ABA Trained, Floortime Experience, PECS, PROMPT Trained, and TEACCH.
Christina Sarley, BA
Executive Assistant / Administration
Christina has over 10 years of experience in assisting business administrators. She comes to us from the corporate world. Previously, she assisted in organizing, growing, and maintaining high needs in a fast-paced environment. Her previous business ownership experience, life experiences, and positive outlook make her the perfect pairing with EKT. Christina is part of our executive administration team. She is an integral part of organizing and growing all things at Elite. She has the overwhelming task of supporting all EKT staff, families, and children. She welcomes everyone with the brightest smile. Make sure to stop by our office and say, “hello” as she always enjoys meeting and helping our families.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Dee is an Occupational Therapist (OT) holding a national certification in Occupational Therapy (OTR). Dee is licensed to practice as an OT in the State of Ohio (OTR/L) and also holds an Ohio Department of Education (ODE) school license. She has over 20 years of experience in pediatrics both in private practice and school settings. Additional trainings include: sensory, zones of regulation, hand writing without tears, andbehavior.

Emily is Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) holding an American Speech-Language Hearing Association’s national Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). She is licensed to practice as a SLP in the State of Ohio (CCC-SLP/L) and also holds an Ohio Department of Education school license. Emily has over 20 years of experience working in pediatric hospitals and schools.Additional trainings include treatment of oral motor/feeding disorders, augmentative and alternative communication systems for children with autism and evaluation of preschool speech and language disorders.

Jennifer has over 20 years of experience working as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher, SLP in schools, private practice, and rehab facilities with children and adults. Additional trainings include AAC, Autism, and Childhood Language Disorders.

Jessica is Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) holding an American Speech-Language Hearing Association’s national Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). She is licensed to practice as a SLP in the State of Ohio (CCC-SLP/L) and also holds an Ohio Department of Education school license. Jessica has 15 years of experience working in private practice, preschools, and hospitals with both children and adults. Additional trainings and interests include early intervention, articulation, phonology and expressive/receptive language disorders.

Karen is an Occupational Therapist (OT), holding a National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (OTR). Karen is licensed to practice as an OT in the State of Ohio (OTR/L) and also holds an Ohio Department of Education school license. She has over 35 total years of experience in OT with the last 25 being in education with students of various ages and needs. Additional trainings include fine motor development, visual perception, handwriting, keyboarding, autism, sensory processing, self-regulation, executive function, mental health, and fieldwork education.
LAQUITA SCHWARTZ, MS, CCC-SLP/L
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
LaQuita is Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) holding an American Speech-Language Hearing Association’s national Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). She is licensed to practice as a SLP in the State of Ohio (CCC-SLP/L) and also holds an Ohio Department of Education school license. LaQuita has over 20 years of pediatric experience working in schools, early childhood intervention, and private practice. Additional trainings include AAC, Autism, PROMPT and S.O.S. feeding therapy. LaQuita has also been a Presenter at the Ocalicon Conference, teaching communication strategies to parents and professionals working with individuals who have autism and other disabilities.
Lisa DeBord, BS
Intervention Specialist
Lisa is an Intervention Specialist licensed in Special Education for Mild to Moderate with grades K-12. She is licensed to practice in the state of Ohio and holds an Ohio Department of Education school license. Lisa has 13 years of experience working in a variety of schools with children in elementary through high school. Additional training includes: Ohio Writing Project, Crisis Prevention, Cultural Competency, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support, SIOP for English Language Learners, and Hope Squad Advisor training.

Lynne has over 30 years of experience working in schools, private practice, and residential facilities with children and adults. Additional trainings include AAC, Autism, ABA, and TEACCH Trained.

Mary Ann is an Occupational Therapist (OT) holding a national certification in Occupational Therapy (OTR). Mary Ann is licensed to practice as an OT in the State of Ohio (OTR/L) also holds an Ohio Department of Education (ODE) school license. She has over 20 years of experience in hospitals, home care, and outpatient services with children and adults and has additional trainings in the areas of: SOS Feeding Approach, Beckman Oral Motor, and Rhythmic Movement Training.

Michelle is an Occupational Therapist (OT) holding a national certification in Occupational Therapy (OTR). Michelle is licensed to practice as an OT in the State of Ohio (OTR/L) and also holds an Ohio Department of Education school license. She obtained a Master’s degree in Education in 2020 in Behavior Analysis. She has over 30 years of experience in working with children in hospitals, schools, and private practice. She has experience providing OT services for children birth to 21 years old. Her specialities include working with students with fine motor delay, sensory processing / self regulation , oral motor and feeding difficulties, ASD and developmental disabilities.

Rose is a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) holding an American Speech-Language Hearing Association’s national Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). She is licensed to practice as a SLP in the State of Ohio (CCC-SLP/L) and also holds an Ohio Department of Education school license. Rose has over 20 years of experience working in pediatric hospitals, private practice and schools. Areas of interest include: fluency/stuttering, articulation, written language, and reading comprehension. Rose also specializes in the evaluation of preschool and school-age fluency, speech and language disorders.
Shannon Noteboom, MA
Intervention Specialist
Shannon is an Intervention Specialist holding licensure in Early Childhood Education and Special Education Pk-3. She is licensed to practice in the State of Ohio and holds an Ohio Department of Education school license. Shannon has 10 years of experience working in schools in grades K-3. Additional trainings include: Orton Gillingham, SPIRE, L.I.P.S, ODE Dyslexia Training, ODE Science of Reading Training, Master of Arts in Instructional Design and Technology.
